The winter of 2014-2015 was definitely one for the record books, where all of the normal continental weather patterns seemed to collect lopsidedly on the east coast of North America. With many people crying for a more balanced moisture regime, each of us set out to make the most of what eventually turned into the Winter That Barely Was… An interesting measure of winter is the ratio of ski days to mountain bike days, and while most seasons would perhaps squeak an odd day in on the bike, this year was almost even. Even though it is easy to feel deprived and to lament the loss of an epic ski season, I look back at these photos and see another awesome (if unorthodox) “winter”… See for yourself:
