Kootenay Khristmas – Part 2 – Proctor Pow

Another day, another epic ski adventure. In spite of the fact that it looms above and right next to my hometown of Fernie I had never climbed Mt. Proctor, in either summer or winter. With lots of fresh pow to be had and a willing crew, we pushed up through tight trees before finally breaking out into to beautiful bluebird skies and perfectly pitched fields of snow. Sadly, by the time we reached the summit high clouds had crept in and we lost our perfect visibility, greying out the pictures but not our spirits. Much pow was slayed and by the halfway point in the run the sun was back and we appreciated every ray.
